FEMALE COCOA FARMERS' COOPERATIVE PAYS COURTESY CALL ON COCOBOD LEADERSHIP

Some Executives of the Brong Ahafo Women Cooperative Cocoa Farmers and Marketing Central Union (BAWCOF), this week, paid a courtesy call on the leadership of COCOBOD at the Head Office in Accra.

They were received by the Board Chairman, Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, together with the Deputy Chief Executive in charge of Agronomy and Quality Control, Dr. Francis Baah, and the Deputy Chief Executive in charge of Operations, Dr. James Kofi Kutsoati.

Speaking on behalf of the Cooperative, the President, Madam Martha Addai, expressed appreciation to the Board for its continuous support. She further extended an invitation to management to attend their Annual Festival, scheduled for 28th October 2025 in Techiman, Bono East Region.

In response, Dr. Ofosu Ampofo commended the farmers for their unrelenting contribution to sustaining Ghana’s cocoa industry. He emphasised management’s commitment to the welfare of farmers, particularly the youth, whom he described as central to the future of the sector. He assured them of policies that will enhance their welfare and pledged to personally honour the invitation and grace the upcoming event.
